He is quick and cunning and dangerous, and I am going to portray him as such. I will not water down his character. That being said, my portrayal will be slightly more CANON-DIVERGENT. due to canon events.
♣. I am okay with duplicates following me. I hold the firm belief that similar headcanons for duplicates can co-exist. It is possible for like-minded ideas to be developed by more than one person, especially if they're writing the same character. I think they're all unique, even if there are similarities and I love seeing all the interesting spins.♣. I do have a discord, but I would much prefer I grow more comfortable interacting first before I give it out. This is for my own comfort and peace of mind!

Roman had allied himself with Cinder's faction with the belief that they couldn't be beaten. He has too much to lose, so of course if you can't beat 'em, may as well join 'em... right?After the events that took place at Beacon and the fight atop Ironwood's airship with Ruby he was believed to be dead. Shortly after being devoured, the Grimm was killed in the crossfire and plummeted to the ground below. Roman had the chance to free himself from the monster's belly, but not unscathed.
Roman lost an arm in the incident, and currently has a robotic prosthetic.He no longer considers himself an ally with Cinder's faction, and instead has branded them an enemy alongside the Huntsman (especially Ruby, whom he holds a grudge against for continuously foiling his plans and interfering).Depending on the verse, Roman is working alone after being separated from Neo or was quickly found by Neo and continues to work alongside her after retreating to safety and licking their wounds.
Ability: Clockwork Orange
Using small handcrafted bombs that take a similar appearance of oranges specially made to be loaded into his cane (melodic cudgel), he can detonate a powerful blast that gives off an equally citrus-like scent rather than your normal... bomb smell. While not an ability, it did take a huge amount of effort and engineering for the end product result.Currently stationed in: Yokohama
Current Affiliation: IndependentRoman is a seemingly extraordinary man, much like the other gifted. However, his ability is nothing but a fake that he writes off as an ability. He's not envious of those who have them, not at all. He sees it more as a game than he does as an attempt to fit in with his peers. He has his own skills he's proud of and doesn't need an ability. He is proficiant in things such as Martial Arts (Bartitsu), Pickpocketing, Piloting, Bargaining and Negotiating.Roman Torchwick is an independent villain originally from America and formerly affiliated with the Guild. He came to Yokohama with Fitzgerald in his search for the book, however it was before the final phase of the plan that he and Neo both split ways and sat in hiding in another city before the Guild officially disbanded.Yumeno's curse had affected Neo, causing her to attack him. This lead to his final decision to cut ties with Fitzgerald, and currently bears a grudge. He grabbed Neo and fled to another city where they laid low for a while.

He is knowledgeable of the activity that goes on in the underground and is willing to sell this information to those who want it... but for a pretty penny. He originally came from America, but due to the larger crime activity after All Might's retirement, came to Japan to do business.Being quirkless, Roman has his own self-defense tactics. He is skilled in martial arts and hand to hand combat and carries with him a silver tongue, able to sweet talk himself out of situations. He is not as defenseless as he may seem, relying heavily on support gear (mainly his cane) to aid him.Using the money he gains for selling information, he invests in this support gear and any repairs needed.He runs his own organization called Will-O'-The-Torch (Also known as Willow or Torch for short), but has very few who work for him aside from any lowlife urchins who want to get their hands dirty for him. He keeps one loyal person at his side, and that's Neo.
